Don't know how many of you have previewed the course but it is a links course unlike most link courses. Not many links courses have elevation changes. This course looks ridiculously hard. I am predicting they are going to get lots and lots of complaints. There is going to be a lot of bad luck on this course. The fairways are hard as a rock. The greens are huge and you can't tell the difference between the fairway and the green. They are marking in white what is green and fairway. There will be a lot of shots reminiscence of Tiger's chip in on 16th at the Masters. Balls heading nowhere like an awful shot only to end up at the hole.
The good will be that who ever figures it out and plays well will win. I think it will be whoever has the least three putts. You could play well and think poorly and lose. I really think it will be an older golfer who wins. I don't know if Stricker is even in it but his game suits it. He is not playing well. Verplank and Tom Lehman would do well as would Langer. Of course those guys aren't around.I am leaning towards Rickie Fowler.
