So, now that we are 5 episodes into season 9, I must say that Angela Kang (spelling?) has done a wonderful job at reinvigorating a show that Scott Gimple nearly destroyed.
Angela has brought back some good writing and good dialogue and she actually ties up loose ends unlike Gimple. Obviously this world wasn’t easy to fix considering the shit Sandwich Gimple left her, but she’s done a good job.
Last night was Ricks final night on the show. His story will go on but in 3 movies not within the show.
I will say that when I heard Rick might die, I was pissed. He didn’t die. I think he was taken to the commonwealth community. But the way it was done was masterful. The last 3 minutes of the show were very good with the 6 year time jump.
Lots of positives coming on the show I think.
