Ok ladies and gents. Need some advice.
Looking at renting a house. Need to upgrade my space as me and the wife get ready to usher in our first kid.
My question is if there anything I can do upfront to make sure that I get most of my deposit back after I move?
I've been jobbed pretty good the last 2 places I've been. The last one kept $400 to replace the carpet ( it was already at least 2 years old and stained before I moved in)
Deposits on houses typically are at least the equivalent of a month of rent so it would be nice to get most of that back .
Any tips are welcome.
