Was looking to take my kids to a HS football game this Friday, so I pulled up the GA state recruiting rankings.
I know this is well known that GA has an insane amount of talent, but it just blows my mind. And it shows that it shouldn't be hard to recruit/win at UGA...
The state's top 38 players are either 4 stars or 5 stars.
They have 125 kids they rank and all of them are at least 3 stars.
Alabama has a couple 3 stars out of GA and they are both DL.
Clemson has a couple 3 stars...a DB and a TE.
Tennessee getting their fair share of talent here...a strong SEC/ACC flavor for sure.
Several uncommitted safeties including a couple 4 stars...In case you didn't know, Coach Cooks!
Would love to see OU get a guy out of GA every year. Sermon and Duke Robinson were both solid gets for us.
With that being said, I'm going to go to the closest game to me. Marietta at Hillgrove...Several 4 stars and a couple 5 star guys. Should be a good one if it's not 45 degrees and raining like the current forecast suggests...
