Last night my son who is 11 played in a tournament in OKC. 1st game we played was against a team from Stillwater with Travis Fords kid on it. This kid was a good shooter but his celebrating and taunting was sickening. After every made shot he pounded the side of his head with the 3 fingers, did the ol stirring the pot gesture and talked trash the whole game. Him and another kid actually punted the ball to the ref a couple times when timeouts were called. Well needless to say our boys were a little annoyed. So later in the game the Ford kid went to the hole out of control and my boy hammered him pretty good. An intentional foul was called! Honestly I don't think it was intentional, it was just hard and the kid being out of control made it look worse than it was. But needless to say, when we later found out the kid was Travis's son I couldn't help but smile a little.
Side note: I would never teach my kid to intentionally try to hurt someone.
