Just a heads up if you’ve got a lease on your property and you had a Workover rig on it in the last year you might want to be aware they probably pulled that tubing and that well isn’t plugged. Had a couple groups running around the state pulling it. Once that casing rots you could have some issues. We ran them off but it was too late now trying to figure out who to go after since they sold the pipe and declared backruptcy after pocketing around 5 million. After a spill and making them clean everything up to cop it off. they put some shitty fencing in place and now I’ve also got 5 dead cows from something on the location. Just dropped one of at osu killed the dam things in a couple hours. Don’t know what but never had a single issue until they came and grabbed that tubing to sell with no intention of plugging the wells. Really bad loophole in Oklahoma right now.

Do they have any other wells producing on this lease?
How long have the wells been abandoned?

It has been a few years since I was active in the oil patch.
I spent 39 years in the oil patch

Sorry bud just saw the questions. Yes we contacted our local rep and he and his boss actually came out to look. Basically right now they told us there isn’t anything they can do. They pulled their bond but that doesn’t mean anything. They observed the scene took and took picks before we took off the cows to osu for test. Well hasn’t been flowing in over ten years for sure but no one enforces that unless you call and complain.

State law requires that a non active well be plugged at different intervals. Same with dry holes. They should be cementing through the tubing as they come out of the hole.
Ya that’s why it’s a scam they aren’t doing that. They buy the leases pull the pipe sell it for a quick flip then declare bankruptcy and the well just sits with no one accountable. Been in the Oilfied my whole life so I would have seen cement trucks coming in. They hire a Workover company and that’s it. Plus a trucking company to haul the pipe once they sell it. They do it all over the country.
