Innocent until proven guilty, but quite the interesting situation here. Not the first time Continental's gone after folks for this. Someone more savvy than me can probably post better info; but the gist of the allegations is this - Robert Hefner V, an oil executive (coughjuniorlandmancough), along with a partner, and a former Continental employee, plus some unnamed folks, conspire to buy minerals and working interests based off Continental's proprietary technical data and with advance knowledge of their drilling plans. The group would either quickly sell, or keep the interests, in any event defrauding CLR out of millions.
