Moses was one of those trend setter guys who went straight from high school to pro basketball, from Virginia as I recall.. I believe he was on one title team in 83 with the Sixers. That was a pretty good team. Dr J. Mo Cheeks. Bobby Jones. I read somewhere that they were voted one of the top ten NBA teams ever. Don't know about that, but acquiring Malone got Julius Erving his only NBA championship.
Pretty sure he won an MVP award. Decent scorer as a pro, but an incredible rebounder.
He was also the last ABA player to play in the NBA. Close to a 20 year career in pro basketball, because he started at 18 or 19.
