Recent move to Houston made it possible for me to get to my first OU-Tex game this weekend. Going to try and avoid talking about the result...
I made it for the happy hour at III Forks. Glad I did. Really enjoyed meeting and talking with a bunch of you... @gabbo34 @SoonerGrad95 @pinnaclesw @Barrow4 @Mich_sooner @SoonerMD09 and many more were great folks. Special thanks to @Dr Pacheco for organizing it. Wish I could have stayed for dinner but it didnt work out for me.
The fair environment was everything I could have hoped for. Corndogs for breakfast washed down with wax cup beers.
Man the stadium is as big of a shit hole as I envisioned. I thought the place would collapse from the rocking in the 4th. If only they were still full it may have... which leads me to my next point...
Always sad to see so many head for the exits early. It was somewhat satisfying for me to see all of those that did miss out ok a great comeback. Obviously it didn't work out in the end but to see the team continue to fight was one of the funniest experiences I have had.

The phantom PI on the last drive allowed the Texas buttholes to relax. That took the air out of our defense.
Overall I had a great time. Disappointed in the result but we will be back, hopefully with someone else running the defense.
