I know it’s Thanksgiving, so maybe we can all be thankful for death and the circle of life...(insert lion king reference/gif)
So I was thinking about the OU defense and then saw Wufee’s post about mortuaries and was curious about everyone’s thoughts on death.
How do you want to go and what are your burial plans? Cremation, spread ashes, satanic rituals donation, donate to science...etc?
Donate organs...Yes/no?
Cremation/imbalmed?
Buried/urn/ashes spread dumped somewhere?
When my great grandma died she had some cool plans for her body and possessions.
She had it in her will and last dying wishes to be donated to science, cremated then buried at a later time. She donated majority of her possessions and money to charity...years after her death the family received countless thank you notes and signs of gratitude. Many park benches and building bricks have her name on it in remembrance of the difference she made by her donations.
I’m thinking about similar plans for my body and possessions after I die.
Thoughts?
