Today at lunch, I went to chick fil'a in Richardson, TX, close by to where I work. I parked in the parking lot, as I always do, to go inside and get my meal because I hating waiting an hour in their drive-thru line. A gentleman was standing at the car next to means hollared over to me that he thought a lady was asleep and couldn't get her to wake up. I walk over to see if her car door was unlocked and it was. I open the door where she almost fell out. At that moment, I knew it was something worst. I look at her hands and they are blue. I check for a pulse, nothing. I yell to the guy to call 911. I sit her back in her seat just to see a blank, lifeless, look on her face. I knew she was gone, but yet I start chest compressions and looking for a pulse. This is the first time I've ever come across something like this. Death doesn't usually bother me. But today, this one got me. She was 36. All I could think about was my fiancee. Now, as i lay here in bed, trying to sleep, all I see is her. Is there anybody whose come across this kind of thing? And how were you able to cope?
