I know that the Florida State thing has been talked about a lot now. And personally, I think the committee got it right. But how messed up is it that Florida State now has to play what is arguably the best team in the country (on a good day) and is at worst a top 5 team?
I think that this matchup is not only an unfortunate circumstance for Florida State, but also the committee wanting to emphasize that they were right. I would love to live in an imaginary world where Florida State has a legitimate chance, but they're likely going to get blown out. Yikes.
