I looked at a recruiting list on another site, and we were ranked 17th on their evaluation. But we were in the top ten on average stars per player. We just don't have as many on our list at this point as most of the teams. It's not how you start, but how you finish. And having some spots available for the inevitable late bloomers that blow it away their senior years, and get added to recruiting lists.

We do seriously need to find some high quality pass catchers. If you don't have play-makers there, you cannot compete at a high level.

Receivers, or the lack thereof, along with a decimated offensive line, doomed OU last year from the start.
These two issues were the main reason OU had a losing record.
These two issues in the Navy game graphically revealed this. Navy dominated the line of scrimmage.
