Brent Eads evidently was not happy with my question on why Paige Knight and Destinee Nourly were dropped completely out of the Top 100 for the 2020 class.

Last Friday, we wrapped up the two weeks of unveiling the Class of 2020 Extra Elite 100... you can see the complete list here as well as schedule of the bios on each player.

Inevitably and not surprisingly, once the list is released there are questions to why certain athletes made it and others didn't.

For example, we got this comment: "This should be interesting explaining why two player’s like XXX and YYY who have been in the Top 50 in every rankings (sic) is suddenly not ranked at all."

Extra Inning’s Brentt Eads--who has done over 25 different softball class rankings including some such as the 2020 class three times--updates an article he did in February that talks about ratings, why they’re done in the first place, how players make the list (or don't) and who wants them in the first place (you may be surprised)…

This was my reply...
"Good lord, man! No need to get all pissy about it. Can’t wait to hear your explanation for the drop of those two said player’s. Until then keep doing what you do because it may not seem like it to you but I do appreciate the hard work that you put into these lists."

Now it's a wait and see if I get banned or not for daring to question the great one.
