Who remembers Sept 10, 2001? I don't. It was just another day like all the others. We all believed our nation was invulnerable. Less than 12 hours later everything changed. I remember the collective shock in every person's eyes I looked into. I remember gas prices skyrocketing. I remember people filling up their tanks at the pump like that was going to somehow protect them from the upcoming apocalypse. Let's all give a collective thanks to our men in uniform who by their sacrifice have allowed us to again feel a measure of security as they hold back the evil that is out there. Be thankful when you go to bed tonight that you can relax and sleep well. Tomorrow was not guaranteed on Sept 10th. Please don't politicize this post. Thank a vet and refuse to forget.
