It would consist of Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian, Utah Tech, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, Austin Peay (Let’s Go Peay), Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas, North Alabama, and Texas Rio Grande Valley (in 2025). Also, there’s a rumor that the two Montana schools and North Dakota State, and South Dakota State would join. Pretty interesting from the standpoint of it being the first new conference in fbs since the MWC was created back in 1999. Most of these schools, minus Montana schools, the Dakota schools, Tarleton, and EKU struggle to draw. SUU and Utah Tech don’t meet the 5,000 fan requirement for fbs. Seems like a lot of these schools aren’t fbs worthy and it’d push FBS up to 145.
