Shut the Gators out, 1-0.

If they win the next one, they'd eliminate number 1.

Every game in this regional was a shutout win. So far. The CGirls scored on Shipey's double in the 6th. If you didn't know, OSU's hc is a former OU baseball player, who was on the Sooners' NC team in '94.

For those of you who can never pull for the Pokes, ... or Cowgirls, having a XII team beat a number one ranked SEC team, ought to be an exception.

At the end, it was too much for OSU or Texas to overcome, playing the extra game in the losers' bracket. Texas lost game 6 at College Station 3-1. Just not enough offense.

OSU was bold. They beat Florida in game 6, 1-0 to force game 7. Needham shut them out in game 6, but she lost a little off her command in game two. Florida won 5-0, but it was a great showing for OSU to force number one to game 7 on the road. But in three games against Florida, they scored 1 run.

How many of the $ec teams got knocked out of the tourney so far ?

All not hosting. Every host made it after the umps got to ULaLa in games 6 and 7. But then the Ragin Cajuns do that to everybody that visits there, sooo.

This is the first time in the history of the tournament that all 16 seeds are in. Bama and Auburn wouldn't have made it without home town officiatun. Both Cal and Minnesota got hosed by the guy behind the plate.

Not sure, but I think we got new guys in blue for game 7 in Norman today. Some might have had to go back to work. Paige got squeezed most of the weekend til today.

Just glad we got to rest everybody else on the pitching staff. They're going to need it. I have bad feeling about how both Paiges will be treated by the umpires in Auburn. It's an SEC tradition. Then they brag about how great their pitchers and teams are.

All for of the XII teams won at least 2 games. Texas won 2, OSU won 3, forcing game 7. Baylor advanced winning 3 straight. OU won 4 straight after the first round loss.

There were 5 non hosting SEC teams. None advanced. Georgia got to the finals at Talahassee and lost game 6 and went home. FSU advanced. South Carolina made the finals at Tucson and got blown out in game 6 and went home.

Miss St, Mizzou and Arkansas all went to the regional as 3 seeds. All 3, played 2 and went home 0-2. So all under performed. Or were only in the tourney because of SEC bias.

The SEC hosts, got a lot of help at home. It's the SEC way. The screw jobs at Tuscaloosa and Auburn even got scrutiny from the SEC p.r. machine at ESPN.
