I watched most of their game yesterday, and they ran their Base
4-3-4 set pretty much all game. And they were able to Stiffle TCU's O.. I know Boykin struggled, but I was a little shocked they were able to consistently cover w 4 in the Secondary. Which brings me to my point, when we play BU and TCU, how often will we be able to stay in our Base 3-4? I know we play way better when Bond and Striker r in the field at the same time. Against WVU, we played Base pretty much all day. I know their will be certain passing downs where we'll need 5 DBs, but if we were able to play Base most of the time, with our Secondary covering well, I think our D has a much better shot to Shut/Slow down the next 2 offenses. And we play the run better in Base as well...
