Orlando Brown

That is a big boy. He made a few costly mistakes but I think that guy has a bright future. He was half a helmet taller than the rest. I am glad I don't have to pick up that boy's grocery bill.
Yea I think he is going to be a player but his foot speed just seems slow. I hope he continues to work hard on that. He has potential.

He has alot of growing up to do this season. But I have no doubt he will eventually mature into a solid lineman. He had a rough time the other night. But the same can be said about pretty much every player on the OL.

He made a couple of highly-visible mistakes for penalties early in the game. Others made mistakes that didn't make it to replay or the announcer's attention. When he did a good job, it really wasn't recognized, and he did handle his opponent later in the game quite effectively. I thought he was quicker than his opponent once he learned his opponent's moves. I like what I saw.

Mmm, 342 large, that's the perfect name for him since he's as big a city.

On 3 of his 'Mistakes', at least, an Announcer commented on them, but every time, followed up with a positive remark about his potential, going forward, saying he was going to be one of the good ones. I hope that happens. It did seem that he was 'getting it' more, by the end of the game...

I can't imagine that our very young OL didn't grow up considerably in the cauldron of that game and that they won't learn and improve considerably as players and as a unit from it. It's also too bad that Kenyon Frison had his head up his butt so badly that he missed that irreplaceable opportunity to grow/bond with his trenchmates on the OL. When you deliberately screw up, you never know what opportunities you'll forfeit.

Just reading up on his life about his father passing away while he was in high school. His dad introduced him to Jammal Brown former sooner and he has helped him. He will be the next Trent Williams.

WP, I think he is much more likely to be the next Jamal Brown. A mammoth guy who dominates. I thought that given his 2nd game played, at left tackle against a high quality pass rusher, under those circumstances in Knoxville, that he was really good. They are going to transform his body.. it is already underway.

He wants to be a student of the game. He has arm length and will have the kind of strength that could make him truly elite. We just need him to be great by this November.

All of these young guys ought to now be prepared for Dallas. It cannot possibly be louder.

He is not a juco transfer. Came as true freshman and RS'd last year. Our entire O-line grew up as the game progressed. By the time we get to the last three games, barring injuries, it's going to be a very good unit.

I'm sorry you are correct but he didn't qualify at UT because of the SEC standards for some reason.
