I started to hear some buzz yesterday afternoon that Kelly Maxwell to Oklahoma was gaining some steam. Then, when Patty Gasso tweeted about a commitment last night, the buzz turned into a roar.
Obviously, you've seen the Extra Innings report, and there have been all kinds of hints at this in the past several hours. I can tell you that I'm hearing the same things from very good sources, but obviously, nothing is confirmed until Kelly announces it for herself.
All signs are pointing to Oklahoma landing the veteran pitcher from their in-state rival.
