The rosters for the game were released yesterday so we decided to break them down and take a look at "Five things to know."
For those of you here it is of interest because it will give QB commit Austin Kendall a chance to shine in a very competitive atmosphere, especially considering he's batting injuries during the regular season.

1. Austin Kendall can prove he belongs with the best
Kendall was off to a good start this season but he has been hampered a bit by injuries. The Rivals250 Oklahoma commit did not have the best offseason and was really looking to step up his game this season. If he does play in the Shrine Bowl, adjusting to the speed and talent of the defense will be a good challenge and should be an indicator of his progress. So far this season, Waxhaw (N.C.) Cuthbertson is 3-3 but Kendall was knocked out of the second half in its game at Marshville (N.C.) Forest Hills on Sept. 18 and has not played since. Getting back on the field is very important to Kendall's development.
