Randolph screws up under pressure. Put heat on him and he makes errors. In today's game vs. a West Virginia team totally out of synct on both sides of the ball, OSU only managed 18 first downs (less than WV had) 6 of 20 on 3rd downs and Randolph was 20 of 47 passing for only a dismal 42.5% vs. a terrible WVU D and he threw 2 interceptions including an easy WVU pick six.

The OSU offensive line is weak and they and Randolph will succumb to our pressure.

Did you watch yesterday’s first quarter? There was no pressure. We keep giving teams 3 TDs early it’s going to catch up with us. Can’t continue waiting until after the opponent scores 21 to begin playing defense especially when we play better offensive teams. OSU is not some pushover and they will come to play.

OSU is a serious threat. No doubt. They have created balance on offense. Randolph is the best passer we've faced and they figure to have the best receivers we have played. Our offense will have to be prolific and bullies and our defense must create sustained pressure. In that three down front last night in the first quarter, there was probably a six yard alignment gap between the nose and the right end. The linebacker was not even lined up in that gap. The first drive, Tech just ran through that gap over and over and we made no adjustment. I think if only we use a four man front most of the time and quit being stubborn about a scheme that's getting killed, we will be too much for them. We ended up playing a good game last night but that effort may not be good enough to beat OSU.
