Wow! Showing some serious disrespect to Tuberville's recruits out of Florida and Georgia. Implying they were FSU, UF and Miami rejects and the Ohio boys were tougher because they were used to playing in cold weather. Not sure if I buy that line of thinking, but I'm sure the Ohio readers will eat it up.

How many players does Ohio State have that are eligible to declare though? I know it was stated early in the year that Ohio State had the least experienced team in all of Div1 football. But not sure how that translates into freshman and/or sophomores that aren't NFL eligible.

Yeah the b1g crowd are always bitching & moaning of how much tougher they have it. Maybe a bit cooler and/or wetter for their games but they get done before real winter hits most times. It's not like they are playing in ice bowl conditions the whole season and maybe will have one or two in late November

OSU will lose a few more early entries to the NFL draft but not quite near what they lost last year - well for now anyways. Elflein, Hooker, Lattimore, and possibly Conley are all projected as 1st round picks (or close to it). That could all change after the playoffs however. The scary part is that's 3/4 of our starting DBs are probably gone - not exactly an ideal situation against Mayfield next year. Two of them (Hooker & Lattimore) are 1st year starters. The Buckeyes do have some very capable replacements though. Look for Ward, Arnette and E. Smith to finally get their big opportunity next year.

I kind of have mixed feelings about the early departures. Hate to see them leave but boy, the HS recruits sure are impressed. Should be a great game next year in the Shoe but really way to early to start projecting winners/rankings.
