We’ve all bitched and moaned about B12 officiating on here all season...we all agree they suck massive balls. But there was a two-play series yesterday that borders on officials being either (a) on the take ($), or (b) legit being instructed to take an anti-OU view of things during games.
Play-1: Brooks gets tackled BY the face mask...not with one hand, but looked like both defenders hands ON the facmask! Also looked to me like officials were not obstructed from seeing it.
Play-2: The next play Brooks picks up like 25 yards deep into OSU territory and they throw a flag on an extremely borderline hold well behind the play?!?!?
I would literally lose my sh!t if I were Riley, and I saw him talking to the refs during a timeout a few plays later...but I would be throwing headsets and screaming in a m’fers face!!
This probably was discussed here during the game, but didn’t see any threads after a quick scan...and was anything said about that sequence on the TV telecast?
There was also another play where we were lined up to ran a subsequent play, and the referee pulled his flag, dropped it, blew whistle, and called a penalty on the previous play????
