Sooners pull ahead fast with a dominating offense attack. Rodney Anderson runs wild. 56-17 Sooners. Chip wore out his welcome in NFL and will be 0-2 in his CFB restart.
Not gonna get to watch this one, but I'll be around here following it.

As long as the D continues playing the way it has OU will be fine. However the offense needs to find its groove.
Why didn’t we kick the FG at the end of the 1st H? Take points when you can, but especially when it takes it from a 2 score game to a 3 score game. May end up being irrelevant, but those types of decisions can end up being costly. A bird in the hand....
Yeah he's showing out today. He's a legit NFL talent.
I was hoping Cee Dee had a big game today after Hollywood did last week. We’ve got lots of top shelf talent, and keeping them all involved can be tough sometimes.
Ugly at times. Things to work on. And still a 28 point W over a P5 team. I'll take it all day. Hope to hear as good as can be expected news on Rodney. We have depth but I just feel for that young man. Another step in the right direction for the D. Murray Jr. had a fantastic game. Bolton off to a great start. D showing an attitude that Baker brought to the O. Still feel like the talent is making Mike look better. Cee Dee and Hollywood is a devastating duo. Lincoln will figure out what works best for Kyler and it will only get better.
agree with you 100%. my points: some drop off from anderson. noticeable drop off. ucla qb made throws that robison did not last wk, hence the scoring difference. not sure we had a lot of fire today, more of a business like attitude.
OL was a disappointment today as seen in running game sputters. Losing Anderson if even for a few weeks will hurt. Sermon can bring it but only if OL blocks much better. Sutton and Pledger look capable to help shoulder the load. Let’s hope for best for Rodney...prayers are definitely for him.
I think it just takes a minute for Riley to figure out running game formations and plays. This has been his MO from day 1. He'll figure out how to get it going.
Oh, and special teams!! Beamer is worth every penny by 2 games. Being able to win with all 3 phases of the game is what champions do.
Agree with all that, and will add one more thing. Something that just absolutely wow'ed me today.
In all of my years of watching football, I"m not sure I've seen better pass protection that what Murray got today. It was incredible, and it wasn't against a D II school either. Just amazing.
Contrast that to the duress under which we put the UCLA QB until we put in our defensive backups.
I think UCLA defense is much better than advertized. They are big. Their QB is going to be good. They will get better as the season progresses and this win will look better on our slate. Our O Line needs to get better at run blocking. We gave them 14 points in the 4th. I liked the way Murray took what their defense gave him. Our receivers dropped too many balls. Iunderstand CeeDee got his ass eaten this past week for not going hard and fast. AD Miller got the start and CeeDee took the message to heart. Came out firing on all cylinders.
I think three things may be happening:
It's possible that Mordecai may have passed Kendall on the depth chart....aside from the fact that Kendall was injured.
Freshman T.J. Pledger has shown he will be very important to the offense. He reminds me of Quintin Griffin.
Rodney Anderson may never play again at OU. He joins Mike Gaddis as a running back whose course in becoming great is derailed by injury. Last year I saw only one other back better than Anderson...Saquon Barkley of Penn State.
