After rewatching the game and reading some people’s thoughts I now am not as worried about the line as a whole. My question becomes what was the coaching staff thinking? If I have a line group of 5 guys that have been practicing together wouldn’t it make more sense to replace Hickman with bates and leave the other 4 in the position they have been practicing at and knowing the assignments? Instead from the 3rd series on they moved lg-c/lt-lg/rt-lt/. I felt like what I was seeing was guys missing their assignment which can be fixed easily(outside of the guy they brought in at rt)…
