Here is the Offense rankings for the top 10 conferences in the CFB Playoff hunt. This would be top 25 offenses.

Big 12 - 5
ACC - 3
SEC - 2
PAC 12 - 2
Big 10 - 1

So this shows a major disparity in strong defensive perception. Big 10 is a glaring weakness.
