"Gooners" is the absolute dumbest of them all. Why do horn fans call us that (I realize it rhymes), they sound like 4th graders trying to come up with a snappy cut down.
I laughed the first time I head "that even our mascot was a bandwagon", "land thieves", the OSU favorite "Zero U" there are lots of clever things people like to say, but Gooners is the one that makes me most embarrassed for the person saying it...and they use it a lot on Orangebloods.
I hope we spank them like we did in 2000 this weekend! BOOMER!!!!!
