I rewatched the game to get a better look at what took place. I rewatched the game pretty fast so I'm sure I missed some things. I'll address some concerns I had and some I've read on here.

I saw a number of plays were OU players appeared to be going through the motions. Really lacking effort, which is one thing this Sooners' team has not been guilty of so far this season. I remember Farouq giving little effort and missing on an edge block on a short flare pass to Gavin Freeman. GF was able to make a couple of yards out of it but help from Farouq probably would have been a 1st instead of 4th down and a punt. Just a really flat team.

Sawchuck was very average until the 4th. Seemed hesitant (and that wasn't him trying to be patient.) This won't be popular but I thought overall, Major had the better day. The 30 yard TD was more a product of a gapping hole than an explosive run. Same problem though. RB's aren't making defenders miss enough or creating yards on their own. Oline had some bad plays but not as bad as our running game appears. Speaking of OL, Byrd and Shaffer whiffed on several plays. I mean not even touching the man they were responsible for. Too many offensive plays that occurred where a defender just blew though untouched...probably came from their gap. Lebby is good then...hard to figure.

I saw PJ lose the edge a couple of times as did Ford. The few plays I saw PJ, he didn't seem to give a lot of effort. Might be why he didn't play much.

Some don't like Gavin Freeman but the kid is a baller and made several good plays Saturday. Oh, and a few more passes to Anderson, please!

Kanak is a baller but will get caught out of position a couple of times a game. Secondary desperately needs to learn to stay focused. Allowing the WR to get behind them right before the half is inexcusable.

And then there is the unpopular truth that UCF actually played very well and executed well on several big plays. The last UCF TD pass was a gutsy and brilliant call.
