O/T: We're all dying (sorry; Interested) to know how Mary Jo will be portrayed

Movies about Kennedys seem to glamorize and praise them so why would Chappaquidick be any different ?
And remember that 11 years afterwards, Teddy ran for president but lost to Jimmy Carter in the Democratic primaries (1980).
He also was elected senator by Massachusetts voters for 47 years (1962-2009).

Yeah; "Lyin' of the Senate"... The Fam had to have their legacy at all cost

The date must have been 76 v Carter or he would have been contesting a sitting Dem prez in 80 OR you're talking about 84 vs a challenger to Reagan. I haven't checked the records

Dying to see this movie. Pardon the pun. I hope the movie is a factual chronology of the events, and not a hack job on the Kennedys or a sugar-coated fluff piece. Something believable and realistic would be nice.

Ted did not run for president in 1976. He did in 1980 against Carter who was seeking a second term.
Reagan, fortunately, won the election easily.
