Not political but interesting. I always admired his great head of hair at age 71.

Amazon is laying off in Seattle. At the same time, they're opening new distribution centers all over the place and looking for a location for a 2nd headquarters. The net result is that they are adding thousands of jobs I don't know what's going on with Walmart, other than they started going downhill after Sam Walton died and now they are in full suck mode. But I'll guarantee you that thinkprogress.org is only telling you the story that fits their agenda. The information is out there if you're really interested in it, but it looks like you are happy to be led by left-wing media.

Might want to change your handle to bullenial.
Read the stories on Walmart and AT&T they are secretly & quietly laying off thousands after giving bonuses. Other big companies like Comcast are doing the similar thing. Trump does not talk about this.

I don’t relie on cable “news” networks (that’s a fricking laugh), they’re all highly opinionated. Pertaining to Donald Trump, I will continue to judge him on how well he fulfills his campaign promises (BELIEVE ME...statements). It’s too early for me to form an opinion, but I seriously doubt he is going to make good on his biggest and most popular, for his base, promises. We will see. As a human being, I absolutely hate him simply because he is a bold faced liar and bully that will never admit when he is wrong. I’ve never voted for the democratic candidate, however, I’ve not always voted for the Republican candidate. I didn’t for for Nixon, George H, or Trump, choosing to vote independent. But just as Obama, I accepted Trump as my president, which was much easier to do than it would have been with Hillary. I believe the people’s choice should get that respect. But then the clock starts running and the POTUS is open game for his/her actions, failures, accomplishments, etc. I agree with many of Trump’s goals for America but he is so into himself that what he does well is overshadowed by his erotic selfishness. If he doesn’t change, he will not win a second term, we will have a democratic president again, and I will have another reason to despise him. But we will see how he does on the wall and Mexico paying for the wall, removing every illegal Mexican alien, and repealing Obamacare. His other two top promises have been fulfilled, lowering taxes for everyone and cutting the business tax rate, so I happily give him credit for those accomplishments. Right now he’s batting .400, but we wouldn’t keep a coach that only won 2 of 5. Just saying.

Yeah JFK; I said those words a few posts back. Poor Jackie O

Now it's Melania's turn. You feel bad for her too?

It doesn't matter where or when these Presidents we've been talking about were unfaithful to their wives, they've all proven to be lousy husbands. One thing these men all have in common is a lack of character, morals and values. Some say, "we don't expect our POTUS to be perfect," but the howling from the right when Clinton-Lewinsky was going on was deafening. Now the religious right and Trump sycophants are giving him a pass, which is pathetic.

Some presidents were devoid of character, morals and values far beyond just infidelity.

Even when Trump and the Republican majority enact legislation that you think you can go along with there's always a caveat. Cutting taxes and funding infrastructure would seem to be a good thing but it's all about the timing. No economist worth his salt would recommend cutting taxes when the economy is already booming and then following it up with a budget that spends massive amounts on defense and infrastructure. Two things are inevitable...an overheated economy with interest rates and inflation rampant while increasing the national debt. It is now estimated that the debt will increase by 1 trillion before the end of 2018. Trump doesn't care...he just wants to fulfill promises to his base and sign bills that make him look good in their eyes.

I agree with you on the debt issue but regardless who is president the debt is going to continue to rise because our citizens will never agree to make necessary cuts that will stop the insanity. I’m 71 and set for the rest of my life so it ain’t going to affect me much. However, it’s going to be a real problem one day for people I care about and some are those that are just too blind to see. This idea that America should be the keeper and custodian for every living soul in this country will keep draining our wealth until something bad happens that makes it impossible to do anymore. When that happens millions more will be hurt than would be today if we shut down funding for.....I’m going to quit before I piss someone off. Hey, how ‘bout those SOONERS! Can’t wait for Spring ball to see how our Quarterbacks do.

100% THIS!!!!

Just like the announcement of the indictments of Russians yesterday. Each media outlet is going to make their "interpretation" as to what was said at that presser and form their reporting on how it fits their respective agenda. I watched the presser and made my own conclusions. It's incredible just how awful and biased the "news" media is these days. Just unreal.

Politicians also will never do whats needed because it's political suicide. Cutting spending/funding to balance the budget means taking money out of peoples pockets or cutting jobs. You do that, and you are losing those votes forever. People in this country cry and complain about the deficit, but they only want spending cuts that affect other people. Amazing how many times I've heard "they need to get spending under control, but they better not mess with my money". The government over the decades has done a magnificent job of making a large portion of this country completely dependent on government money without them really even realizing it.

Well at least he has high morals.

Are you ready for our great Softball team's new season my great friend? I think another National Championship will be achieved again. Patti Gasso is greatness.

Men's and Women's gymnastics are both on track to win another national championship this season as well.

Definitely worthy of a read....

By Charles Krauthammer

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).
OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."

OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."

Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.

So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy!

That's why we need Gowdy in Session's chair to put an end to Soneto and the Clinton's treasonous cabal. DC is still a nasty swamp and always has been

I find it very difficult to trust anyone who’s job it is to compete with others for my attention, vote or money. Politicians fall into this category along with car salesman, and I think you have a much better chance of not getting screwed by the car salesman with all the information that’s available today.

Gowdy for Ginsburg ! Gowdy for Ginsburg! Gowdy for Ginsburg! Gowdy for Ginsburg! That would be great but the Democrats would never confirm Trey Gowdy or any GOP senator or congressman.

The Dems changed the rules w/ their last vote on a SCJ... 60 is not needed these days. The magic number is now 51.

Nope I just googled this

"To be confirmed, the nominee needs a simple majority in the Senate. But Supreme Court nominees — at least as of now — can be still filibustered, which means that 60 senators must vote to keep the nomination alive"

Come on Donald its finally the time to give Russia the sanctions that the Senate and the US House overwhelmingly voted for....

The Senate vote yes 98-2
the US House vote yes 419-3

Whats the hold-up Donnie??.

So the sanctions that were passed are reported as punishment for Russia's involvement in Ukraine and Syria. But how is that any different that what the U.S. has done in the middle east and around the world for decades now?? Not sure why it's any business of the U.S. to sanction another country that isn't doing anything different than what the U.S. set the example for. Or am I missing something here??

No. The sanctions were because Russia tried to manipulate our election.

Not to mention the recordedly dozens of times America has attempted to influence elections of other countries. Look it up. I wasn’t at all surprised that Russia meddled in our election. That’s what powerful countries do. If, however, an American worked with or aided the Russians, they should be prosecuted no matter who they are.

Actually, he's already done more than Obama did in 8 years.
The GOP congress voted 517-5 to have sanctions put on Russia, Trump is silent because Putin is his daddy.
Its sickening.
517-5 is Congress's biggest margin in history.

The Senate voted yes for sanctions 98-2
the US House voted yes for sanctions 419-3
