NIL monies disclosure

Recruiting services are reporting aTm as having The Best recruiting class ever, for any school, this year. Not hard to connect the dots.
Yeah and for Jimbo to act like it’s not about NIL is laughable. A&M doesn’t just start getting (8) 5 stars by being underachievers. Imo Jimbo said that the school isn’t paying anything but he didn’t say the donors aren’t. How stupid does he think people are? Within the last month all I’ve seen on Texags is them bragging about how much NIL money they have to spend and that that’s what they’re doing. This site I posted is just estimating numbers imo I don’t think there is any kind of reporting these players have to do besides the IRS

You make a good point about taxes. Hear me out for a second.... Public institutions require open finances. If a public institution provides free services (scholarship) to a civilian, that civilian should be umbrellaed under those public disclosure laws. The kids taking scholarships to play at public schools should have to also disclose their finances publicly.

That doesn't cover USC and Notre Dame, but it's a start.

Hadn't crossed my mind until tonight. I was about to post wait until it trickles down to HS Athletes. Welp I looked it up a min ago.
Probably has been mentioned before.

It's a great time to be an 18 year old athlete. I don't expect this to last, so the lucky few to be born in 2002-2004 are going to make off like bandits, and then we're going to see legislation and rules that reel this in soon. I know TBOW isn't a popular scholar around here, but he said it well in the past week about how he fully expects guardrails to be put on this system very soon.

Evan Stewart I believe is his name. He will be in the portal after next year. Quit his senior year cause he wanted to focus on his TikTok videos. He's more concerned with making $$ from his videos than he is playing football. He had several drops during the UA game, he's not 5star material.

Unless those "guardrails" impact him, of course.
