Nice win for OU last night, but too little too late.

Sooners win 81-60 over a not very good ISU team last night in Norman. If you'll recall, this same ISU squad beat OU by 10 in Ames a couple of weeks ago in one of OU's poorest offensive performances of the year. ISU defended OU well, but the Sooners were ice cold in that first game in Ames. Glad to see them bounce back strong in Norman, but my gut tells me that the Sooners may win one game in the Big 12 tourney, but will most likely be a one-and-done. Yeah, I know, I'm a regular "Debbie Downer."

I think the B1G made a smart move by playing their tourney this weekend. They will have the freshest legs for the Big Dance.

OU's RPI is at 37 right now, so if they win one in the Big 12 tournament, I think they're pretty safe. Big if, the way they've been playing Regardless, I'd be surprised if they win one game in the NCAA tourney.

Sooners get oSu in Big XII tournament. Likely going to get rolled. Still make NCAA tourney and hopefully playing non conference foes provides a spark.

I guess Trae and Manek hit the freshmen walls because neither can buy a bucket, mainly Trae. Except for that one good shooting performance by Trae a week or so ago, he has been one of the worst shooting guards I have seen the past 2 months. His form is really bad, it's almost like he just chucks the ball in the air and hopes it goes in. How in the world is he still talked about for player of the year? So many games have been played when I wished we had the other team's guard because they can hit jumpers.

Trae is good at ONE thing, passing! However, there are times when he makes boneheaded passes too.

I'm torn. This past month or so, if that's the same Trae that plays next season, then I hope he goes to the NBA, cuz he has sucked, but if the Trae that can actually shoot shows up, then I want him back.

We already have a PG in Sheppard that can't shoot, but at least Trae is better at passing and breaking the press. Sheppard looks lost out there.
