Got the chance to go to the Super Bowl, which is right down the road from us here in Palo Alto..my beautiful bride of 44 years got us tickets for my birthday in January.
Great evening. Had a blast. And it was good for the soul to watch some pretty amazing defense by the Broncos. Denver played like they wanted it, and it showed. I am am not sure if Cam got hurt, but he seemed to be really intimidated and beaten up throughout most of the game.
For the younger guys on this board...that is the way OU use to play defense on the collegiate level. Totally intimidating, flying around with superior speed and athleticism. Big, tough and brutal-but with tremendous speed and athleticism.
Hope I can see it at the college level at OU before I leave this plane of existence...really miss that kind of football...instead of video game football.
