A poster on OB's got a call early this morning about this news. The poster said he searched but could find nothing about it. He thinks it's the lawsuit a former player filed. That case was thrown out. These are highly educated posters that haven't heard the news. I guess they didn't know where to search. Somebody on here please provide them a link or tell them to read the Austin American Statesman Sunday edition. I bet you the circle jerk crew over there know, but they are no shows since this broke.

You do realize that he is fishing, right? I don't know what happened, but this isn't out of the norm in these kind of situations. I don't have an opinion, because I don't know enough about the situation...and neither do you. But it is annoying when people use the "everyone cheats" line...in any situation.
Mixon already was punished, plead no contest on the charges. Maybe you should wish they find some of Mike Vick's bloody dogfighting hounds too.
You can't just start asking for phone records of all males that may or may not have said hello to someone's wife. I'd say that there is something there or it wouldn't have gone this far. Did he request other people's phone records too? Maybe...I didn't see it anywhere so I doubt it.

On the Mixon thing, perhaps we should just re-hash all kinds of stuff that have been dealt with. You can't compare Mixon beating a woman, to an accusation about Strong, regardless of what he makes. We have no info on the matter. As far as the negative recruiting, that has been going on, and the recruits have said as much. So what's new.

I knew that was coming, and you would be wrong. I don't have circumstantial morals, and Mixon would not have been a Longhorn. I don't have a problem with second chances, and I applaud stoops at times. But he is also known for allowing the Mixon's and DGB's of the world, a second chance, with such egregious actions.
