Hurricane Ida is hammering the NOLA levees so time will tell if Tulane’s stadium can avoid flooding. The very strong east and northeast winds blowing across Lake Pontchartrain are a big problem...with the slow movement. Hope that in 6 days things can get under control.

I’ll be shocked if the game happens Saturday.

Not to mention if the power is back on.

I agree with johnnyd89, the game will be played. Storm has passed and is now just a TS. It was NOTHING like Katrina.

yeah but when will power be back on think repairing the damage is more important.
Haven't heard of any damage to the stadium and the power should be back on soon, unless there was devastating damage, which I have not heard about. Also, if they truly want the game to be played, they could find an alternate site, just saying.

One network posed the possibility of the game being moved...to Birmingham.
If New Orleans doesn't have power by Wednesday, Birmingham could work. The true extent of transmission damage will be known today. Tulane has already moved their team to Birmingham for practice, rumor now is that it might be 2 weeks before power is completely restored in New Orleans.
