I’m told Michael Hawkins will switch his OV date from June 16 to June 9, and that is per the request of the Oklahoma staff. With the Sooners set to host a bevy of elite offensive linemen on the 9th, including Grant Brix, Jason Zandamela, Weston Davis and Eddy Pierre-Louis, the Oklahoma staff has asked Hawkins to come to town on the 9th and try to close the deal with a few of them. Hawkins and his family were eager to oblige the request.
Hawkins will then be able to solely focus on competing for Elite11 MVP honors on June 14-16 in Los Angeles.
