More pressure put on Sark

Texas is a 3 point favorite for today’s game with Kansas State.
I am wondering if this off season for Texas will be the biggest one year roster turnover for a major college football program?

I think I read where Sark is already saying over 30 new players, although I am guessing it will be more. And will the money people give him time to truly change the culture? Will the defensive coordinator survive more than this first year? Huge off season for their program...and if they don't choose wisely they may be on the coaching carousel again.

If Sark loses to K-State it will be 7 games in a roll. Seven straight losses. That is mind boggling for Longhorn donors. Anything can happen.

Not that it’s a problem for me, but what’s happening at Texas, in view of its many resources, is flat out inexcusable.
I don’t see positive changes occurring until the braintrust there is overhauled. And that’s not likely.
There’s a lot of highly rated players from high school on the roster who seem to play without effort or focus, every year. Sark doesn’t strike me as a remedy for this meltdown.

It's so surreal watching what's happening down in Austin. I mean, I can't believe I'm saying this, but to be honest, it's a little embarrassing.

It's like watching Darth Vader or some other supervillain become so weak that it takes the fun out of not liking them. It's literally to the point where it's not cool anymore. The avengers needed a powerful Ultron. The Fantastic Four needed a powerful Dr. Doom. Likewise OU needs it's arch-rival to be strong so that our victories over them are glorious and meaningful.

What kind of players will he be able to pull in, if they lose 7 in a row?

It's Texas they will always be able to pull in talented players; I think the question is talent combined with humble.

He's going to have to pull in Big Uglies in transfers or nothing will change. Right now, their Oline sucks at pass blocking and below average at run blocking. Plus, save this years recruiting class.

Agreed both lines for that matter. The run blocking was average I thought and stood out as a negative because the pass blocking was so poor. I believe their class this year will have a rough finish (decommits/misses).
