If u only want to win the Big 12 title maybe okay but if your goal is to try to get into the CFP then you have to play w the teams that have incredible talent across the board.
Monty argued for bigger, faster, more athletic and depth and lost that argument w Mike and Bob. Those red-shirts would have pulled on D if Monty could make the call but Mike was the decision maker so Monty knew he had to leave bx Mike just didn't get it. You guys just watched Clemson OVER- POWER OU & you question getting the frosh talent reps.
Akron, Tulsa, TT, KU, KSU, Iowa ST, six easy games for those players to gain playing time. No depth on the OL...so we don't get the frosh in the games? No depth at DE/ DT (except C Walker) and only NG had depth.
It's a program and a long season (injuries are a sure thing). You guys remember the 2000 season...OU and Stoops played anyone and everyone including moving players from D to O and vice versa.
You guys remember how many points Fla ST scored that night w a Heisman QB. Stoops was coaching w talent that would have beat the OU 2015 team by 50 to 10.
Amazing, how the coaches have these low expectations and they are frozen bx of failures in the past.
