Not too much tonight, fellas. Kyler Murray, Trey Sermon and Austin Seibert.

Here's some Murray goodies:

Atmosphere in Lubbock?

I've taken a visit. I actually almost went to Lubbock. Me and Coach Kingsbury are pretty close. I was always a fan of him and what he can do. I know it's gonna be a hostile environment. I know the type of kids that go to the school, they love the tradition and they love to be out there in those type of atmospheres, big games. I played there for baseball and they're pretty good at baseball, so it gets pretty rowdy. I know what to expect. I think it'll be fun.

You look forward to it?

Yeah this is a little more ... got a lot of students. They're gonna be rowdy. This is probably gonna be one of the most hostile environments that we've played in all year. I think their team ... they feed off the environment and the home stands so we've gotta be ready to go in there with the mindset that this is gonna be a four-quarter game.

Looking forward to a night game?

Yeah, a little different. It's in Lubbock, so we probably won't get home til about 2, so that's the tough part. But it's definitely a nice switch-up from waking up at 6 in the morning.

Prefer night or early game?

Me personally? I like getting the game on early, just because 7 o'clock games, you've gotta sit there and wait around all day, which is tough.

Rambo?

I mean, he's ready. The guys that haven't played a lot, they're sitting behind guys that are doing what they do very well. He's sitting behind Marquise and Marquise is doing it as good as anybody in the country. He's ready to go. You've just gotta sit there, sit behind him and take what you can until your time comes.

How did Kliff draw you to Lubbock?

Just how he believed in me. What he thought of me, what he thought we could do together. And also, he was with Johnny (Manziel) when Johnny went on his little deal. That's about it. Me and him have pretty much hit it off since we met.

How did he sell Texas Tech?

It wasn't really much he had to say about it. I mean, just watching the game, being a fan of the game, you watch what he's been able to do offensively. I've said it, I didn't think I was gonna be big-time just because of how tall I was or whatever it was, but you know, I felt like at that time, that'd be a good spot for me with him. And who knows what would've happened if I'd gone and played for him. That was part of it.

Down the stretch mindset?

Yeah I mean, just because it's happened in the past doesn't mean it's gonna happen now. But we also know the urgency of championship November and what it takes to push through this month. We also have goals of winning the Big 12 championship and obviously making the playoff. That's the standard around here so I think the guys have the urgency of what we need to get done and how hard it is to do it. I think we'll be ready for it.
