*One-time Oklahoma defensive end commitment Jacoby Jones sounds like a guy that is - as we've been hinting was coming - has pushed himself away from Oklahoma and could be moving toward Texas and Oregon.
I do not get the impression that Oklahoma is losing much sleep over it as I think he was largely seen as a body to provide some depth. I still think he will be replaced in the form of another body somewhere along the defensive line but should Oklahoma get Marcus Stripling and David Ugwoegbu this is a loss they can easily stomach.
But in the end I'd say Jones and Oklahoma is just about a full on divorce.
*An interesting note that I picked up in talking to offensive tackle offer, and last weekend's lone official visitor, Myron Cunningham was in regard to the Sooners recent offensive line commitment Finley Felix. There had been some question of how the Sooners planned to let them co-exist, particularly if both of Oklahoma's junior tackles, Bobby Evans and Cody Ford, don't each elect for the NFL draft.
"Yeah they plan on moving (Felix) to the guard position because of his body type and keep me at tackle," Cunningham said.
I'm not sure that's the plan but it's interesting that it is being thrown around.
