UPDATE: 8:05p - Can confirm today that Lincoln Riley was in the Dallas area and got by to see 2017 Rivals100 quarterback commitment Chris Robison as well as Fort Worth South Hills to see Tylan and Tracin Wallace. Tylan holds an Oklahoma offer at wide receiver.

Will try and reach out to both to see what they heard - though Riley can really only say 'hi' and 'bye' within NCAA rules.

ORIGINAL:
OK guys, here come the next few weeks, they'll be crazy and so I've made the decision (that I usually do) to just run what we have and not worry as much about Scoop.

We'll still have one when information allows (this week we'll definitely have one) but information just moves to fast this time of year to play around about it.

So we'll get started with a few things...

*Obviously the coaching staff is on the road this week and I'm told they are hitting the road HARD this week.

First you've got Jay Boulware headed to the East Coast to see the Sooners most recent commitment Abdul Adams and to further firm that situation.

I've spoken to Adams some since his commitment and I think it's clear he isn't a guy that loves the attention and really just wants to bear down and try to focus on his classwork - I've been told he has some work to do but it's not a huge mountain, just some things he has to address.

*Secondly I know the question will arise and it seems the Sooners will be heading to see five-star linebacker Caleb Kelly on Thursday. The visit will be done solely by Mike Stoops at Kelly's high school, Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West.

*Also have word that Oklahoma will be at the 6A-1 state championship game on Friday night to watch several prospects but you'd have to think Rowdy Frederick is the primary focus. Just something to file away.

*Heard some word that Oklahoma might offer Webb City, Mo. offensive guard Trystan Castillo. He spoke with Bill Bedenbaugh yesterday morning and thought he was going to get a call late last night but it didn't end up coming together. He is expecting Oklahoma to get by this week to see him though he isn't sure if it's just a drop by the school or if it will be an in-home visit for the Missouri commitment.

*Another note is that Tramonda Moore the offensive tackle from Oklahoma City John Marshall won't be getting a visit this week, or at least isn't expecting one, but instead Oklahoma - along with Alabama, Miami, OSU, Tulsa, Arizona St., UCLA, and TCU - will be by next week.
