First let me say I'm not a fan of the air raid offense, so my thoughts are automatically biased against it.
I can't help but wonder if in this offense we shouldn't have Mixon and Brooks getting the most carries with Perine in that position that they had Flowers playing. Flowers just is not good at this point of his career.
Mixon and Brooks both have a little more shake to them than Perine. In a Kevin Wilson offense I think both Perine and Mixon would tear it up, but this isn't KW it's Lincoln Riley. When you add in the current state of our OL I just keep wondering why Riley continues to insist on Perine and so much of Flowers.
I also, like many, wonder why we don't see more Andrews. I watched him a lot yesterday and felt he blocked very well for a young TE. He's obviously a good receiver too.
Just my thoughts, I know Lincoln is still learning his personnel and what will work best.
