I keep reading posts that we haven't played a team with a winning record. Isn't Tech 5-4? Not great but still a winning record with a W against Arkie.
In all likelihood we end the year after having played 8 teams that end their season in a bowl game. Below is the opponent with their remaining schedules:
1) Tenn-(4-4)--S. Car., N. Texas, @ Missou, Vandy;
2) Tulsa-(4-4)--UCF, @ Cincy, Navy, Tulane;
3) W. Va-(3-4)--Tech, Texas, @ KU, ISU, @ KSU;
4) Texas-(3-5)--KU, @ W. Va, TT, @ Baylor;
5) KSU-(3-4)--BU, @ TT, ISU, KU, W.Va;
6) Tech-(5-4)--@ W.VA, KSU, @ Texas;
I skipped Akron, TCU, OSU, & Baylor. At this point you could expect Tennessee to win at least 3 of 4 as well as Tulsa. Both could easily win all 4. If Tech, W. Va and KSU play it out the right way all 3 end up in bowls. Obviously the last 3 teams we play end up in a bowl. I believe our strength of schedule should start getting a healthy bump as these teams start winning with their easier end of the year schedules.
