Conference play arrives and the paper tiger hits the shredder. Im so tired of this.
Let’s hope its not a repeat of last year. OU started strong last season also only to struggle in Big 12 play. I do believe if this team can somehow win 7-8 conf games they get in the tournament.I said before conference play started that OU will be dominated because they can’t stop big, strong teams off the offensive board. They started the season 13-0 and now may lose thirteen(13) in a row. 🤷🏾♂️
Put a product on the floor that doesnt shit their pants and just maybe the fans show upToby Rowland had the gall to ask where the fans were while pointing out that OU attendance is dead last in SEC.
Well Toby, 1) the coach we have is not the coach we need, 2) it's hard to get behind a team that doesn't have the same players from one year to the next.Toby Rowland had the gall to ask where the fans were while pointing out that OU attendance is dead last in SEC.
I didn’t even watch that long. It gives me the same feeling as watching OU football. It is a helpless feeling that brings about emotions of anger, contempt, and frustration of having seen the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over…..Down 13-7 at first TV timeout. Barreling toward 0-3 in conference after an unbeaten non conference. Shit is a bad joke.

Out scored 30-18 this half. I am not even sure how much longer I can watch this crap show PM conducts. No disciplin at all. This is not a well coached team. I guess OU will just join Arkansas at the bottom with an 0-3 startAnd zero adjustments out of the half. This team has zero paint defense awareness.
Has there ever been a worse time as a Sooner fan?Porter Moser is about to be 0-8 to Texas and 0-4 to start conference play as the Sooners have once again fully reverted back to the same lost team once conference play begins.
I don't actually believe Moser needs to be retained through the season if we reach halfway through conference play without a win. I genuinely believe that pressure has a lot to do with it.

Well, men and women's Gymnastics are #1 in the nation and softball, #3, starts in 45 days! 😁 😁Has there ever been a worse time as a Sooner fan?
Our ladies team is much more fun to watch!I didnt get to watch last night ( I go to work very early) but seen the score this morning. PM is or has shown he can be a good coach at lesser smaller schools in those lesser conferences but as a P5 coach not so much.
I am sure he knows his job is on the line and like BC says I think OU should just go ahead and cut ties with him now. He sure isnt earning what OU is paying him.
I put this on the players also, they are getting paid and at some point they have to shoulder the blame also. I wonder if they even care about the W as they get paid either way.
This is not a team you rush to the TV to watch. If I do watch I just get frustrated and ask myself “why did I waste my time”
Gomer's second year was way worse. Blake's three years were as dreadful as they come. And in those days, we didn't have softball and gymnastics to be proud of. From 1958 to my soph year, 1970, we beat Texas once in 13 seasons. It's been way worse several times.Has there ever been a worse time as a Sooner fan?
I was always curious what would have happened if Merv Johnson had gotten the job which is who Switzer proposed...Gomer Jones' time at OU wasn't good.
The 1964 team had talent (Grisham, McAdams, Neely, Rentzel, McCurdy, Mayhue, Hart) but couldn't avoid losing 4 games (USC, Texas, Kansas and Nebraska and tying Missouri)...then losing badly to Florida State in the Gator Bowl 36-19 (in a game that had only one extra point made and a 95 yard pass to Ben Hart).
But Gomer's nightmare ended after a 3-6-1 record in 1965 and Jim MacKenzie came in from Arkansas with a staff that had Switzer, Fairbanks, Rice and others and OU's football fortune was saved.
I do not believe the Gomer Jones years were the worst since it ended after only 2 years.
I'll put the decade of the 1990's as the worst as it had OU's image badly damaged by probation, a gang rape in the athletic dorm and a shooting.
Gary Gibbs entered into a program that was poisoned and did the best he could do.
I'll always wonder how Gibbs would have done had he inherited a clean program.
What lies ahead now is a potentially scary scenario, mainly because of the entry into the SEC.
OU will need topnotch coaching and talent like never before. Every game represents a potential loss.
If Venables falters again this year, there won't be a reason to keep him.
