24/7 shows luther burden commit to u of Misery. why leave ou signing class for missouri? either he gets home-sick, is afraid of challenges or got a special signing bonus but at any rate wtaf would any one go there to play elite football? oops one more possibility. lifetime fan!? guess i was hopin he'd come back to the fold

I for one believe most of these talented kids should attend schools closer to home or where they can see early playing time. Heck, we're chock full of elite recievers already. We didn't lose anything, imo.

I take everything I read with a grain of salt but he supposedly wanted Riley to guarantee him a starting job, which everyone knows isn't going to happen. Missouri could easily give him that assurance so the result was predictable. Wish him well unless he plays us.

Missouri now has the 15th rated recruiting class for 2022, so there could be something positive brewing there.
Coach Drinkwitz is a good offensive minded coach and at 36, he is said to be one of the better young coaches in CFB.
Like Arkansas, Missouri will have to work extra hard to be one of the SEC's better teams.

Recruiting rankings don't mean much for most teams look at Texas they should be at least top 10 almost every season if you go by recruiting rankings but they're not a top 5 or 10 ranked recruiting success doesn't always translate to on field success unless you can develop players into that talent.

True, but outside of what you pointed out so correctly, Missouri is still showing some small signs of life in attracting recruits. We'll know more in a year or two.
Recruiting is indeed an inexact science.

It’s possible that Luther may have been a Burden to the OU program.

let’s let him go…..

Will be interesting to see what Hasselwood and Wease decide to do after this year. Mims will be back alongside Williams and Drake. There isnt a wr in the 22 class, but the 23 class is loaded with Moore, Inniss, and Lemon

I take that to mean some WR's are gifted with a larger catch radius; at this point Haselwood is not.
Most of his receptions have been within his catch radius, plus he catches well in traffic from what I've seen. Rattler was having accuracy issues, so that had to have played into all the receivers' catch radius.
Now he has Caleb Williams throwing to him and this could really showcase his talents....as with all the receivers.

You never go into a school with prima donna demands. He can toil with a pretty bad Mizzou team with nobody to get him the ball. Doofus.
True but when the NFL already has eyes on the kid? I guarantee you he's getting bigger giftcards for the holidays than you or I have ever seen. It's a juggling act and a tight spot for college coaches. There's a confusion and misinterpretation with what's ethical in cfb these days. It's all about sellin the fans bs. 😉

Mizzou’s attendance has dropped as their SEC East fortunes have again fallen off the deep end. Good thing they made more empty seats at Faurot Field.
