The shooters according to witnesses were in a pick-up truck with a large Texas Longhorn insignia on the back window of the pickup truck which did the drive-by shooting hitting two people waiting for the bus.

Living in Texas for some 56 years I can tell you that UT has more casual fans than any other team. If you see people in T A&M gear, TT gear, LSU gear, OU gear, they have some connection to their respective school but you see UT gear on some of the most unlikely people in very unlikely places. The logo on the truck means absolutely nothing.
