UPDATE: 11:01p - Talked to Aldine MacArthur Rivals250 defensive end/outside linebacker Isaiah Chambers about his planned trip up to Norman this weekend. His ride apparently fell through, something he was pretty upset about, and he wasn't able to make it. Just wanted to make sure the info was passed on.
UPDATE: 10:10p - The lone player from Florida who was on hand this weekend was Neptune Beach Fletcher quarterback Augie DeBiase. And it seems likely, from what DeBiase had to say that he'll be returning in the very near future.
Following the junior day event he went and caught the first three quarters of the Thunder - Raptors matchup tonight and it sounds like this comfort in Oklahoma isn't out of nowhere and isn't likely to change.
"My quarterback coach is Joe Dickinson so I've always been out here training and around the university," DeBiase said. "We will probably come back for a practice soon.
"(I) love the history here."
UPDATE: 4:26p - The first junior day offer of the weekend has gone out with Newbury Park, Calif. cornerback Darnay Holmes - one of the west coast's most highly recruited 2017 defensive backs - reporting an offer. First reported by our guy Adam Gorney but I figured you'd rather see Holmes' tweet than Adam's.
UPDATE: 2:21p - A guy that I was really interested to see how things played out was Mustang, Okla. three-star quarterback Chandler Garrett. Has made it to Norman and I think we'll all get a feel for just what Oklahoma's interest level is.
UPDATE: 1:55p - Another of the California crew has tweeted out his picture from Stoops' office, this time it's Calabasas 2017 wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr. He tweeted out something along the lines of 'The man Coach Stoops!' and then changed it to this one. Not sure what that means but wanted to note it.
UPDATE: 1:44p - 2017 cornerback Darnay Holmes fires out a picture from his time in Bob Stoops' office.

I was told the festivities were set to start around 1-1:30 today so things are just kind of getting under way.
