Listing Mike's Failures

This thread is dedicated to listing all the times Mike's defense has allowed something no other team has.

- Sam Ehlinger hadn't throw for 300 yards in a game this year....until today.

- Patrick Mahhomes. Nuff said.

- Zeb Noland 3 weeks ago had a career day again the Sooners. Has already been replace by a freshman because he's not that good.

- Kyle Kempt last year for Iowa State. First start. Has a career game.

texas averaged 28 points and 390 yards a game. Today 48 points and over 500 yards.

Most total yards allowed by any OU defense...past 3 years.

Defensive time outs a common theme yet 3rd and 4th downs made anyways.

A ridiculous lack of turnovers generated during most of games past 3 years.

Number of defensive stops declining even though “world class talent” is in place.

Plenty of other nauseating stats for the Sooners defense.

You realiz that was an average offensive football team we faced today, right? Some of us refer to it as the Mike Stoops Effect; before today it was a scientific theory.

Stidham alltime best game to this day is his freshman year against OU.
I think every backup QB has had their best game against Bobo Stoops

2018 worst in CF red zone and 121st worst on 3rd and short. We have a little room before we are the worst. lol
OU with a BigXII built defense, has given up the most yards to BigXII teams. ISU, Baylor and now Texass. Brewer best game and that includes FCS, is against OU.

Don't forget, this is suppose to be the most talent OU has had on defense in years. LR and all of the coaches have said as much.

If last year, our defense was just Top 50, that's 49th, OU would have it's 8th NC. But we haven't been Top 50 since Bobo Stoops came back to Norman.
