LB Brian Asamoah commits to Oklahoma

Swooping in on some rarely recruited area as well. Not too often we grab guys with Michigan, Notre Dame, and Penn State on their list. With that list, it's also a surprise he's only a 3-star right now. I'd bet that ranking goes up.

I live about 6 miles from his school (Columbus St. Francis DeSales) and a few people around this area was hoping that the Buckeyes would offer - they usually offer an under-the-radar or two recruit like former 3-stars and 1st round picks Malik Hooker and Darron Lee. Just wasn't meant to be and like you, I'm predicting this kid to eventually move up to a 4-star. Great pickup by the Sooners. I thought initially he'd end up at Penn State but it looks like they also went in another direction.

Looks perfect for this league....If Riley pulls off a win against Urban...IMO his recruiting credibility will skyrocket even further than it already is...

This is so true. Imagine a 34 year old coach beating Urban in only his second game coaching in Urban's house.

He will be the hottest thing since Dexter Manley trying to read aloud in class.

So far OU has 19 commitments for the 2018 class, 9 of these being defensive players:

5 defensive backs
2 defensive ends
1 defensive tackle
1 linebacker

Still on OU's radar are:
DE's Ronnie Perkins and Daniel Carson from Missouri
DT's Trevor Trout from Missouri and Bobby Brown from Arlington Texas
LB's Raymond Scott from California and Dashaun White from Richland Texas
2-4 of these six players would be huge additions, especially at LB and DT.
